21 Day Gratitue Challenge!
Amy from Stem Parties posted about the "21 Day Gratitude Challenge" which helps us focus on the good and positive side of life for at least 21 days. I decided to take the challenge for the next 3 weeks, esp. during times like these we all really could use the reminder of what life is all about!!
Will you take the challenge??
www.gratitudechallenge.com
Day One: Express why you accepted the challenge and what you hope to achieve from it
I've been in a slump the last several months. Just finishing school (which I am trilled about) our current economy does not have much out there for me. So 26 years, a 9-5 job I don't love, and a hefty student loan later I feel I have not really "moved forward" Well its time to quit that thought out of my head because now I am going to focus on my goals and be grateful for what I do have (A job period). I hope to achieve the reasons why I do what I do each day and to maintain a positive outlook on even the worst of situations. There is ALWAYS someone out there that has it worse then me.

Water Fun
A great idea for a birthday/summer fun!
This mom had great ideas to keep the party wet and cool on a nice hot Miami day... Water guns, water balloons, even some "fishing", another great tip was the "Jello Cake" (her son is allergic to cake so she opted for a fun way to sing him happy birthday and he can actually enjoy it. Check out the fishies in the bowl!

Wheatgrass Anyone?
Lately I've been loving the use of wheatgrass for centerpieces or party decor. I've come across a couple of cute ideas for a future party and thought I'd share for inspiration... I think I might create some myself in the next party just for the heck of it ;)
Check out the ones I have found on The Knot

Speaking of Etsy...

Speaking of Etsy and since I have a newborn now I am all baby brain and came across this great vendor who sells decorated baby wipe cases. Super cute! of course I had to order one for myself (only $10!) Check out Boutique Baby Wipe Cases for your very own wipe case and you can even view her website for more fabric options. I decided on the Dandy Damask in Chocolate Brown & Blue.
My Own Etsy Store!
